Each week, the children will play games, make masks and develop their stories for the final performance. The course will develop basic singing, playing instruments, dancing and acting technique whilst developing confidence in a safe and welcoming environment. Dreamscape will be a devised piece of drama and dance exploring dreams and the sub conscious. A collision of texts will be used to bring our drama alive. Using the words of writers such as Shakespeare, Edgar Allan Poe, William Blake, Roald Dahl and Carl Sandburg, the children will devise a selection of dream sequences. Dance, drama and music will be used to create a humorous and thoughtful piece of drama to perform on stage in costume and make-up. Tutors: Liz Chambers and Leigh Coleman.
