Our little dream castle with every dream gone, is lonely and silent, the shades are all drawn, and my heart is heavy as I gaze upon A cottage for sale The lawn we were proud of is waving in hay, Our beautifil garden has withered away, Where you planted roses,the weeds seem to say, A cottage for sale. From every single window, I see your face, But when I reach a window, there's empty space. The key's in the mail box the same as before, But no one is waiting any more, The end of the story is told on the door. A cottage for sale.
Grant wood was born on February near Anamosa Iowa. He became an art teacher with hardly any formal training. He is most recognized for his painting, American Gothic.
This is a story of two brothers, one good and one bad, who join the Brithish royal flying corps at the beginning of world War I. the good brother falls in love with a young blonde. The good brother shoots the bad brother to prevent him from sharing secrets with the Germans.
The rain drums down like red ants, each bouncing off my window. The ants are in great pain and they cry out as they hit as if their little legs were only stitched on and their heads pasted. And oh they bring to mind the grave, so humble, so willing to be beat upon with its awful lettering and the body lying underneath without an umbrella.
