The tone and atmosphere is a happy and joyful one. The wolf looks cute and friendly as does the scenery, animals and weather.

The tone and atmosphere is a grim and fearsome one as there seems to be a cemetery behind her. The scenery is dark and bleak with a misty hue to signify mystery or “lurking”. There is no light on Little Red Riding Hood to suggest safety or happiness for her.
