HANÁCKÉ VDOLKY My grandmother is cooking today – I´m taking pictures and I´m learning to bake cakes.
INGREDIENTS FOR DOUGH - 4 tb.sp. oil - 500g flour - 1 egg - pinch salt litre milk - 3 tb.sp. sugar - 40 g yeast INGREDIENTS FOR FILLING g cottage cheese - 1 yolk - 4 tb.sp. sugar g raisins INGREDIENTS FOR SPRINKLING -150 g flour - vanilla sugar g sugar g butter
HOW IS MY GRANDMOTHER COOKING??
She is puttting the flour, egg, oil, yeast, salt in a dish. If the dough seems to be sticky, she adds a little extra flour.
My grandmother is mixing and kneading the dough. She leaves the dough to rise in a warm place.
She is making a filling from cottage cheese, yolk, sugar and sultanas. She is rolling out the dough and cutting it into small squares.
She is putting the filling on the dough squares of the dough and wrapping them up to make small balls.
She is brushing the cakes with beaten egg. She is putting plum jam on the cakes.
In the last picture she is covering the cakes with sugar mixture. She bakes the cakes at 200°C for 20minutes or until golden brown. Finally if you want, you may dust the cakes with powdered sugar.
