Studio Cambridge - an overview Studio Cambridge is the oldest English Language School in Cambridge, England We are not part of a chain of schools; we are privately owned and managed We are accredited by the British Council and are a member of English UK and Education UK Our main school is located only 10 minutes by foot from Cambridge city centre and just 400 metres from the train station
Summer camps All our summer and winter camps for juniors include the following: At least 15 hours of English tuition per week Accommodation (residential or homestay or both) All meals Activities Excursions Airport transfers from/to Heathrow or Stansted on Sundays Insurance
Sir Henry camp overview For students aged 10 - 16 years old Campus course held at Hockerill Anglo-European College in Bishop's Stortford 15 hours of English tuition per week 2 full-day excursions per week (except during departure week) Maximum capacity of 220 students at one time Traditional 19th century school, with lovely gardens, a large campus and good sports facilities Excellent location halfway between London and Cambridge, and only ten kilometres from Stansted Airport
Sir Henry Course centre Located in a quiet, leafy area of the town of Bishop's Stortford International boarding school during the school year 13 years experience of running the Sir Henry Programme Students live, study and eat on campus, with most activities also taking place in the school grounds Ratio of 1 adult to 7 children Students are supervised at all times Sports facilities include artificial turf pitch, basketball court (indoor and outdoor), table tennis tables and many grass playing fields Common rooms in residences Computer room with free email access
Sir Henry Course accommodation Rooms shared by two or more students are spacious, clean and comfortable Several residential buildings on campus, with staff living in each building to supervise Shared bathrooms and showers All meals provided on campus in the large dining room Free laundry provided by the school staff Change of bed linen once per week Students are not allowed off-campus unless part of a supervised activity or excursion
Sir Henry Course content 3 hours of English per day on 5 days Classes always in the morning and mixed-nationality Course materials provided Certificate and end of course report upon completion of course 2 hours of activities per day on 5 days Evening activities 7 days per week Activities office and staff Excellent welfare staff 2 full-day excursions per week on a Thursday and Sunday
