Cosmetology Application Required (TDLR) Two year sequence of courses Cosmetology I fundamentals of cosmetology including, chemical reformation and related theory, artistry of hair, and manicures, hours Cosmetology II advanced hair design, principles and applications of hair coloring techniques, advanced haircutting and related theory, hours Gain real world experience by practicing skills on clients Certification available upon passing exam: Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation state exam + 1,000 clock hours completed before 5-25 of Senior year
