18 Cosmetology  Application Required (TDLR)  Two year sequence of courses  Cosmetology I fundamentals of cosmetology including, chemical reformation and related theory, artistry of hair, and manicures, + 500 hours  Cosmetology II advanced hair design, principles and applications of hair coloring techniques, advanced haircutting and related theory, +1000 hours  Gain real world experience by practicing skills on clients  Certification available upon passing exam:  Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation state exam + 1,000 clock hours completed before 5-25 of Senior year
