16 CUMMINS CONFIDENTIAL Conclusion  HDD calculated vs. HDD published strong correlation and minimal error.  Excel program was modified to yield accurate furnace on/off calculations  Furnace on time vs. HDD & calculated vs. HDD published showed a poor correlation.  House Heat loss calculations yielded reasonable results.
