2 Our Founder – Chairman and CEO In 1979, as a recognized expert in real estate and community association law in South Africa, David Regenbaum retired from the law firm he had founded, moved to Houston, and founded Association Management, Inc. (AMI). David has served in numerous capacities in the Community Associations Institute (CAI), including President of CAI National, Chairman of the Education Council, and Dean of the Management Practices faculty. He has served on several committees including the Budget Finance committee, and the Chief Executive Officers of the Management Companies committee. 3 Our Co-Founder – President and COO Glenda Regenbaum is the co-founder of AMI. She has extensive experience in managing community associations and is involved in all operations of the company.
