ENHANCEMENT PROGRAMME (EP) FOR ME DEPARTMENT STUDENTS - MATRICULATION BATCHES 2000/2001 & 2001/2002 DEPT OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERING NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF SINGAPORE
Highlights n Four EP points are required for graduation. n The points can come from one or more EP activities. n Each student is assigned a Faculty Member as Mentor to guide him/her. n Department coordinators for EP activities may also be consulted.

Semester Industrial Attachment Programme (Local or Overseas) – SIAP or OIAP n Students must have completed Stage 2. n Duration is 6 months (24 weeks) n Semester 6 is the best period to undertake the SIAP or OSIAP for most ME students n Faculty members assigned as Liaison Officers n Four points are awarded n Website: http://www.eng.nus.edu.sg/undergrad/ep/siap.html http://www.eng.nus.edu.sg/undergrad/ep/siap.html

Research-based Vacation Internship Programme (at NUS) – RBVIP n Variation of the VIP. n Students must have completed Stage 2. n Duration is 10 weeks. n Students will be invited to apply (limited no. of internships available). n Supervisors will be Faculty members. n Two points per internship are awarded.
