B&F Requirements:  Minimum 3 months  Intermediate to high Spanish and English level Areas covered:  Banquets  Restaurants  Bar  IRD (Room service) Internship in the B&F department can be in one specific area or rotational, allowing students to experience the different F&B outlets in the hotel. The rotation and possibility to focus on specific areas will depend on the length of the internship and the performance of each particular student. “Dining is more than just food & beverage – it’s an experience… … and it’s the role of the B&F talent to provide this experience to every guest during breakfast, lunch, dinner or just a quick snack in between meetings... Sales (Groups & Conventions) Requirements:  Minimum 6 months  High level of Spanish and English Responsabilities:  Assist in selling groups by: Sending proposals to groups interested in the hotel, giving detailed and adequate information, Preparing contracts and invoices, Inserting groups in the reservation system, Organizing and handling the groups proposals Organizing and ensuring follow ups of the groups Handling group confirmations and cancellations  Assist Groups Coordinators by: Inserting rooming lists in Opera (including comments, alerts, traces etc), Checking invoices Preparing group Recaps  Sent Daily/Weekly event reports

Requirements:  Minimum 5 months  High level of Spanish and English Responsabilities:  Main contact for Meeting Planners when events are taking place in the hotel  Assist Group coordinator and Banqueting director.  Take care of the Wired (Business Center) and requests of guests in this area.  Check conference area cleanliness, banqueting services set-ups and events schedules together with Event Organizers/Meeting Planners, in order to ensure quality and success in every event.  Collect events participants and meeting planners feedback, and share it with involved departments in the hotel in order to improve. Requirements  Minimun 6 months  High level of Spanish and English Responsabilities  Answers calls promptly, professionally with a friendly greeting  Explains rate structure, available rooms, method of payment/guarantee and cancellation policies, facilities and services; Collects pre-registration information e.g. (name, address, CC number, etc.)  Entering guest reservation details into Opera system; Review and send written confirmation to the guest  Promotes hotel facilities to guests through selling and up-selling  Entering reservation data from s, faxes, reservation forms, rooming list into Opera  Communicates and exchanges information with hotel sales Department and Front Desk “For many guests, the first contact with the hotel. This talent will be responsible for providing guests with friendly, pleasant telephone reservation service while selling highest possible rates and maximizing room revenue.”
