1 Well folks, It’s that time again to start thinking about our Las Vegas Golfing Getaway. This will be our second annual and if you missed the first one, you won’t want to miss our second. Those of us that attended, had a really good time. In fact, it will be hard to improve on the Pauite Golf Course we played last year…but let’s give it a shot. Golf Reservation Date: Friday - March 16, 2007 Saturday – March 17, 2007 Place: Rhodes Ranch Golf Club Tuscany Golf Club First Tee Time:10:00 AM 9:30 AM As was the case last year, travel arrangements and hotel accommodations are up to you. Both of the golf courses are south of the Las Vegas Strip, so you may want to make plans to stay at the southern end of town… it’s your choice. Some of the more moderate options are the Excalibur and the Tropicana (comparable prices). Personally, I plan on staying at the Tropicana because of the location and nice pool area. Here are the prices for the Tropicana: Thursday $96, Friday $155, Saturday $165. For a comparison, the MGM Grand and New York New York Hotel & Casinos are $250 a night. Travel days for most folks will be Thursday (3/15/07) and Sunday (3/18/06), but once again…that is totally up to you. If you choose to go early or stay late, that’s great. Bottom line is to just have fun! Two rounds of golf and green beer on Saturday (yes, it will be St. Patty’s Day). Hope to see you there! If you have any questions, feel free to inquire, Lad Meairs Email: meairs2@comcast.net (home) or laddin.d.meairs@lmco.com (work)meairs2@comcast.netladdin.d.meairs@lmco.com Phone: (925) 978-0170 (home) or (408) 756-7520 (work) Terms of Agreement: To get the discounted rates of $130 & $110 respectively, (yes, that is $30 off) per person, I had to sign a contract for a minimum of 20 golfers (max of 24) and put down a $1000 deposit. So, I need a commitment by the first week of Feb ’07 with 50% of your golf fees due then as well. The remainder of your balance (golf fees only) will be due prior to 3/14/07.

2 Born out of the desert at the base of the Spring Mountains and located just minutes from the fabulous Las Vegas strip, the facility has quickly become a leader in golf in the Vegas valley. Designed by renowned architect Ted Robinson, the layout provides a unique blend of challenge and playability to golfers of all skill levels. Highlighted by a group of par threes which Robinson calls the very best that he has ever designed, this 6,909 yard course will envelop you in its lush tropical surroundings while providing you with a world class golf experience. Opened for play in November of 1997, Rhodes Ranch has quickly matured into one of the best conditioned and most playable courses in the Las Vegas valley. The multitude of water features, changing elevations, stunning city and mountain views and gentle rolling fairways spread out over the 162 acre property provide a wonderful setting for a day of golf. Rhodes Ranch Country Club promises to reward golfers, but also dares them to think twice before talking advantage of several tempting and spectacular drives. The course has mounding fairways, relentless bunkers, sweeping streams and a myriad of reflective water hazards that present a serious challenge to golfers brave enough to play from the back tees. Come and experience the unmatched golf and service that have made Rhodes Ranch a "Must Play in Las Vegas". Website: www.rhodesranch.com Location: Las Vegas, Nevada (just southwest of the Las Vegas Strip) Date: Friday - March 16, 2007 Tee Time: 10:00AM (first group) Price $130.00

3 Website: www.tuscanygolf.com Location: Henderson, Nevada (just south of the Las Vegas Strip) Date: Saturday- March 17, 2007 Tee Time: 9:30AM (first group) Price $110.00 Tuscany Golf Club, a new Ted Robinson-designed course, will challenge and enchant all comers. Tuscany offers golfers a fair, yet testing layout with expansive fairways, strategically placed bunkers and receptive bent grass greens. Tuscany Golf Club is a distinctive golf course offering Las Vegas golf enthusiasts an enjoyable and challenging 6,906 yard, par 72 vintage golf experience. The entire course offers breathtaking views of the Southern Nevada Mountains and the fabulous Las Vegas Strip. The course opens with four holes designed to get the pace of play going. The fifth hole is where the course really starts and where the thinking golfer must make an appearance. The course becomes less about just going for it and more about positioning. You've got to put yourself in position to have good second and third shots. The finishing holes on each nine leave a lasting impression. The 9th, a dogleg-left par 4, has water on the left side and two bunkers on the right. The green is guarded by water in the front, on the left and behind the green. The 18th is a monster: a 440-yard par 4 playing into an island green with a waterfall off to the left. Tuscany Golf Club’s centerpiece is a spacious 31,000 square foot Old World Tuscan Village which features a golf retail store, a pub and fine dining restaurant as well as banquet and meeting facilities
