10 Dear Student, I am writing to inform you about IBM's Post 18 Opportunities Open Evening that is happening on Wednesday 26th November. This event will be taking place at IBM's Hursley location and will be open to all students and their parents that are considering next steps after college. IBM is the world’s largest Consultancy and IT Services Company with locations across the UK. This event is designed to give an insight into IBM and the post 18 options we offer. Throughout the event we will be addressing the common questions about our Apprentice and Gap Year schemes such as: What training will I receive? How much support is available? And how does the scheme compare to a University degree? The evening will consist of talks from Gap Year students, New Apprentices, and Apprentices who have been with us for the past 3 years. There will also be a session on our application process finishing off in a Q&A session and networking opportunity giving you the chance to ask questions 1 on 1. The first talk will start at 6:15 prompt, with doors open from 6:00. The evening's talks will end at 8:00 with IBM'ers staying around until 8:30 to answer questions. We hope that you will encourage your students and their parents to join us at this event in order to find out more about the career opportunities we can offer. It will be a registered event, so please ask your students to register their attendance (and their parent's attendance) at our event page on Eventbrite.event page The password is IBMINSIGHT. Tickets are limited and will be offered on a first come first serve basis. We hope to see as many of your students there as possible and answering any questions they or their parents may have! Kind regards, James Brazill Schools & Universities Attraction Coordinator IBM UK Human Resources - Recruitment To find out more about our careers, visit our careers website at ibm.com/job/ukibm.com/job/uk
