What are the 3 main types of joint? Freely Moveable – Synovial Slightly Moveable – Cartilaginous Immoveable – Fibrous
Synovial There a 6 types of Synovial joint: Worksheet 1. You have to link the type of Synovial joint to the example of each
With a partner take it in turns to demonstrate a simple movement and ask your partner to explain the movement
Flexibility is closely linked to Joints Flexibility is the range of motion available in a joint. Joints move in certain ways and are designed and situated for maximum effect – Your knee as a ball and socket!?!
To finish There are two types of connective tissue, without them bones and muscles would not work, they are? Ligaments – Attaches bone to bone (Cruciate, Medial) Tendons – Attaches muscle to bone ( Achilles)
