It dominates Paris to such an extent that it's hard to believe it's only a little over a century old having been built in 1889 to celebrate the centenary of the French revolution. No trip to Paris would be complete without a visit to the Eiffel Tower.

It’s collections range from the ancient world to the twentieth century, with the Pyramid and CyberLouvre multimedia gallery bringing the collection right up to date. But most visitors are only here to see one thing – The Mona Lisa's Enigmatic smile.
