On 1 st September 2010, GCNS was one of three colleges which merged to form City of Glasgow College which then assumed all the GCNS responsibilities with respect to the contract with CFMA. City of Glasgow College has a particular focus on the maritime industry and is one of only three such colleges in the UK, and the only one in Scotland, offering the full range of short and mainstream marine courses.
