8  Found very commonly in Illinois (even Naperville!)  Found in many same environments like Iris versicolor

9  Has attractive colors and petals  Is good for the garden’s environment  Even if it doesn’t grow well, there is a good replacement flower  Attracts birds, humming birds, insects  The summer school program can enjoy it
