Task You are to get into groups of three. Each decade has a number of things that are important and impact the future, your job is to pick a decade from the 20 th century and to research and create a timeline of the important events you have chosen. You are to have between 8 and12 events on your timeline. Be sure to have the date of your events and a sentence about what happened.
Task Continued Your timeline must be made so that it can be posted in the classroom. Each group will have separate jobs: Typist: This person’s job is to type on the computer when doing research. Writer: This person’s job is to write all of the information you find from the internet in to your journals so you don’t forget any information. Artist: This person’s job is to design and create the timeline. All of the jobs are important, but everyone needs to help out their teammates- this is not a one person project!
Process After your group chooses the decade you all wish to explore, you will sign up for your decade with Ms. Lester. You will next use the internet to research important facts about events that happened during your decade.
