3. Students may replace two missing or low assignment grades for full credit. (A) One for English Vocabulary and one for English Grammar.

4. Freerice.com default to the English Vocabulary. Here students will earn 10 grains of rice for each word correctly answered. When students have correctly earned and donated 1000 grains of rice and have reached at least level 35, you have earned extra credit. Students must continue beyond 1000 grains of rice until they reach level 35, if necessary.

5. Students can shift to English Grammar by going to “subjects” on the top of the page. Students earn 10 grains of rice for each correctly answered grammar question. When students have correctly earned and donated 1000 grains of rice and have reached at least level 5, they have earned extra credit.

6. How do you prove your extra credit?

7. Print out the page on the computer screen and have a parent sign the sheet. Neatly place student name, date and period on the sheet and turn it in.

8. Be careful, you cannot leave the web site very long otherwise it will reset and you will have to begin anew. Shifting between Grammar and Vocabulary risks earned grains of rice.

9. The Deadline Free rice Extra Credit will be accepted until 12:42 P.M on Tuesday December 15 -- The beginning of the Finals Once final have begun– Free Rice will not be accepted by Mr. Fowler under any conditions.
