Who are we? North East Worcestershire Tourism Loose association of tourism businesses in Redditch/Bromsgrove area Purpose –Educate (ourselves and others) –Promote, inform and disseminate –Lobby –Network and socialise

Tourism in our part of Worcestershire? Get real? We may not be York, Bath, Stonehenge or Ambleside – so why promote tourism businesses? Large number of business visitors to our area – staying while attending NEC, NIA, etc who use other services – places to eat, shop, relax and if impressed may return Lots of longer-stay tourists in surrounding areas – Stratford, Cotswolds, Birmingham – need an incentive to explore this area – attractions and promotions Weekend visitors staying with families and friends Business tourism and internal tourism – promote your area to those who visit you from outside
