Who were the Red coats? They were British soldiers. They would fight colonists to get more land. They were part of a lot of battles and wars. They were the best army in the world.
Who were the Patriots ? They were men fighting against the British soldiers for land and Independence. Some were minutemen, militia, and some were just citizens fighting. The minutemen were men who were ready to fight in a minutes notice. Militia were men who were untrained not professional.
There were at least 4 battles. Battle of Bunker Hill. The French and Indian war. Battle of Quebec. Battle of Lexington and Concord.

The British launched several attacks but failed, and the Patriots held them back. The battle took place on two hills, the Bunker hill and Breed’s hill, mainly on Breed’s hill. The Americans lost the battle but were proud because they had held back the greatest army in the world.
The Battles of Lexington and Concord. The Battle of Lexington and Concord was in 1775. Some British spies saw that Minutemen were collecting weapons and putting them in Concord. There were only 60 Minutemen fighting 250 trained British soldiers.
