Writing challenge. Below are a list of four words you must add to the sentences. Writing challenge. Prepositions tell you where, when or why something happens. Read the list below and put them into a sentence using commas in the correct place. Writing challenge. Speech always ends with a punctuation mark, which goes inside the inverted commas. Writing challenge. A prefix is placed at the beginning of a word to change its meaning. Look at the three prefixes below and try to match them to the correct root word. Writing challenge. Alliteration is the occurrence of several words that begin with the same letter or sound. Read the example and then try writing your own for the animals given. Compound words are formed when two or more words are put together to form a new word. The compound words below are mixed up. Create your own made up compound words using the lists above. Use this word as a subheading and write a short description of what it is underneath.
