Structure There are 5 PATINS Sites throughout Indiana – NE Site in Wabash – SE Site in Columbus – SW Site in Newburgh – Central Site in Indianapolis – NW Site in Crown Point – A total staff of 15 full/part-time employees.
Beginning in Chrome
Living in the Cloud! Cloud-based operating system. It’s not a “laptop” Boots up very quickly.
Living in the Cloud You need a Google Account – but not necessarily Gmail. Google Chrome Services “follow” you. You can save into Microsoft Formats. Offline apps are called Plug-ins – you need these if you want to work when not connected.

Accessibility Searching in the Chrome Web Store Apps vs. Extensions Apps are websites that run within the Chrome Browser Extensions create a feature that is available within the sites you visit.
Read&Write for Google can be found by searching the title in Extensions
Google Drive 5 GB – Beginning Size Works well off line. Can only open Documents in Google Docs.
