Until recently online courseware was inadequate and complicated to use for writing courses. Many online courses are not really online. Students are still required to buy textbooks. Most online courses require off-line study. Ecoursesonline.com now offers truly unique online courseware. It makes it easy to prepare online courses without knowing any computer programming.

Traditional institutions have also started offering distance learning degree programs. Ecoursesonline.com is now available for use by authors for writing courses. It is available to schools for distributing courses to students. Publishers can use the software to publish online university courses or training courses for professions and trades.
Copyright © 2010 by Unicorn Research Corporation8/10/2010 6 What is an online course? Publishers are now putting textbooks online. An online textbook is not at online course. Reading an online textbook is harder than reading a printed textbook. A well-designed online course makes studying easier and more efficient. To prepare a good online course requires good online courseware. Course authors need not know anything about computer programming. Ecoursesonline.com meets the needs of students, professors, authors, and publishers.
Copyright © 2010 by Unicorn Research Corporation8/10/2010 7 Characteristic of good online courses Online courses must be interactive. They must make learning efficient, fast, and as easy as possible. They use good learning psychology and apply concepts such as repetition, reinforcement, practice, and application. The lessons should be short and limited to a single concept. They should be accompanied by appropriate graphics, presentations, and videos. Each lesson should include a good study guide. Students must be able to assess their progress by means of self-tests.

We need you to make ecoursesonline.com known to professors who want to author courses, to schools that need to distribute courses to their students, and to publishers who can use the software to publish courses. We need to make school administrators and accounting faculties aware of the existence of a Financial Accounting course ready for adoption for teaching in class, for use online, and for independent study.
Copyright © 2010 by Unicorn Research Corporation8/10/2010 9 Ecoursesonline.com for authors Professors in academia are required to publish, and many of them wish to publish textbooks or courses. The consolidation in the publishing industry has reduced the number of textbook publishers to a handful. It is now very difficult for authors to have a publisher accept their book proposals. A good approach is to publish their courses online. Ecoursesonline.com now makes it possible to publish courses in any field, profession, or trade.
Copyright © 2010 by Unicorn Research Corporation8/10/2010 10 Ecoursesonline.com for authors Potential authors must be made aware that they can publish their courses online without knowing computer programming languages. Authors who can use Microsoft Word can quickly learn to use ecoursesonline.com. It is feasible to publish their courses even if only for use by their own students. Ecoursesonline.com is suitable for courses in any academic field or trade. Course authors earn royalties just as book authors.
Copyright © 2010 by Unicorn Research Corporation8/10/2010 11 Ecoursesonline.com for students! Professors and university administrators are aware of the very high cost of textbooks for students. Online courses that do not require buying a textbook can greatly reduce the students’ cost of study materials. It is not unusual for students to spend $200 for textbooks for a single course. An online course can cost 1/4 to 1/3 as much while making study faster, easier, more efficient, and more thorough.
Copyright © 2010 by Unicorn Research Corporation8/10/2010 12 Ecoursesonline.com for publishers! Ecoursesonline.com is ideal for publishing courses online. A publisher aware of the features of the software may find it ideal for use by authors that have written textbooks. They may want some textbooks converted to online courses to expand their offerings to adopters. Publishing online bypasses the bookstores and reduces the cost of distribution.
Copyright © 2010 by Unicorn Research Corporation8/10/2010 13 An online course Dr. Matulich has converted one of his textbooks to an online course. Financial Accounting online can be used by professors in classes, for online teaching, and for independent study by students. Business schools should be made aware that the course is available for adoption. Dr. Matulich is available to teach the course online if a school lacks sufficient accounting faculty.

Unicorn Research Corporation, publisher of ecoursesonline.com is flexible in how you can approach the sale of the software. Schools can license the software for use by their faculties and students. Professors can use the software housed by Unicorn Research for writing their own online courses. Publishers may wish to buy the software outright. Accounting teachers may decide to adopt the existing Financial Accounting course.
Copyright © 2010 by Unicorn Research Corporation8/10/2010 15 How you benefit? You will need some training to become familiar with what the courseware can do. You should become familiar with the online Financial Accounting course. You should be able to demonstrate the program features using the existing courses.
