2 Who we are… I Care Atlanta, Inc. (ICA) continuously pursue its mission to serve the homeless, the hungry, and the low income families that make up part of our Atlanta community. Each day, 365 days a year, ICA collects food donated by supermarkets, grocery stores, and other generous businesses in and around the city. This year we are on track to deliver well over 300 tons of donations to shelters such as the Salvation Army, The Atlanta Union Mission, and Norcross Christian Ministries, Atlanta Rescue Mission as well as church pantries that serve needy families. I Care Atlanta provide the link between the stores who have the food and those who need it. Due to the cutbacks in government funding we recognize the importance in community based organizations to pull together and address societal problems at a local level. Without the help of our charitable donors would we be able to continue our efforts. “The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.” - Mohandas Gandhi
