LMS FELL BELOW THE TARGET FOR AYP
GOAL A: All students will meet or exceed challenging state standards for students in Math. Objective: 71% of grade 7 students and 60% of grade 8 students will meet or exceed the state standards as measured by the DSTP in Math. DATA: 52.2% Grade 7 DATA: 55.2% Grade 8 –The objectives were NOT met.
Dept. of Education: Focus Monitoring Report 1 – 4 Scale - 4 = exemplary LMS - Score 2: Access to grade level standards instruction (not all students are receiving grade level standards instruction) LMS - Score 2: Standards-based grading policies and procedures (parents should continuously be made aware of how their children are progressing in achieving the standards)

The Literature says…. All students need access to knowledge and skills described in the standards. Leaders must determine how to optimize Curriculum and Instruction. Effective PD is critical. Time must be well organized, carefully structured, purposefully directed, and focused on content and/or pedagogy.
