Do you know who is the world’s # 1 Enemy? Go ahead…try to guess
I bet that if you try, you probably won't get it.
Good try but…none of them….
The answer is not as obvious as you think.
The villain we are looking for, is one that you see almost every day!!!
OK, here it is. I bet you will be amazed….
Believe it or not……..its PLASTIC!!!!
Did you know that every year in the U.S we produce over 2.7 million tons of plastic bottles. Over 46,000 pieces of plastic debris float on every square mile of the ocean. 1.5 million barrels of oil is used annually to produce plastic water bottles for America alone. That’s enough to fuel about 100,000 U.S. cars for a year. 8 out of 10 bottles will end up in a landfill. And it doesn't end there…..
Plastic is a MAN MADE material. It does NOT decompose naturally. It takes over 1,000 years for plastic to start breaking down. That means that if you throw away ONE plastic bottle in a land fill today, it will still be there in the year
Our land fills are filling up WAY TOO FAST!!!
Lets not contribute to the problem….. Do the right responsible thing….
Instead of this…
After all… we only have one…….
