26 #####.60 Power Brooming Section 710 Section 711 Following the application of the surface treatment carefully broom the entire surface to remove loose aggregate. (Generally performed the following morning).Additional brooming within 2 days may be directed by the Engineer to ensure roadway is free of loose aggregate.Section 711After rolling the pre-coated aggregate mixture, remove loose aggregate by brooming the entire surface.Broom one pass in the opposite direction of traffic.Additional brooming may be required fro up to two days after placment.Seven calendar days after completion of a section of surface treatment, remove all loose aggregate from the shoulder.
