And as a result of our contact with this subscriber, and her attempt to fraudulently establish service in her minor daughter’s name, we’ll have another account paid-in-full.

Was this really just a ‘misunderstanding’ or did this woman knowingly attempt to defraud MCTV by: Posing as Ashley and failing to mention to our CSR that she was calling on behalf of her MINOR child Forgetting to mention that she had an unpaid account and unreturned equipment with our office Claiming that she was ignorant about establishing service in a minor’s name Providing a birth year of 1988 (making us believe she was an adult) when she was WELL AWARE that her daughter was born in 1990

Maybe you don’t have a credit manager at your system. Maybe your calls are not recorded. And that’s okay, because you can still achieve incredible results by simply having a process in place to quickly, inexpensively, and efficiently eliminate this fraudulent and predatory behavior. Have a potential or likely fraud attempt and don’t want to engage the subscriber…simply require the subscriber bring or fax a photo id and lease to your office or contact the property manager to confirm the named lease holders. It can be that simple. How you implement the process is completely at your discretion. By properly identifying and pre-qualifying every prospective subscriber request - before providing service and releasing expensive equipment - you will achieve incredible results to your bottom line at the same time improving customer service! SubscriberWise solutions will empower you and your employees with powerful information and tailor a program that works best for your system. I look forward to working with you! Sincerely, David E. Howe
