Buffalo ADAPTATIONS Stay in herd to stay safe. In winter their grow warm fury coats to keep warm. In summer the coat sheds off to keep cool. Description of Animal/Habitat Weighs up to 1 ton. Its environment has lots of grass. Lots of space to be in there herd. By Ally Cady
