2. Union square is the most popular shopping centre in Aberdeen. It has two floors. The ground floor is where all the shops are and the second floor is where most of the restaurants are and where the cinema is.

3. These lights turn on every Christmas. There is a parade that goes through town to switch them on. They are very colourful and many people go down to see them get switched on.

4. The Trinity Centre is one of the major shopping centres in Aberdeen. It used to be known as "The Mall Aberdeen" from 2006 to Dec 2009, and before that as Trinity Shopping Centre. It is a one story mall with lots of shops.

5. The bon accord centre is another popular shopping centre here in Aberdeen. It has two floors and is very big. It has many shops but the best shop is the Baskin Robins and Millie’s ice cream shop.

6. Marischal College is a large granite building on Broad Street in the centre of Aberdeen. Since 2011it has acted as the headquarters of Aberdeen City Council. However, the building was constructed for University of Aberdeen, which still uses parts of the building to house a museum and for ceremonial events.
