2 Introduction  The Lord’s people today are living in various pains and struggles as though they are living in exile. 60v15  The Lord’s message today is to proclaim His tremendous authority…v1  The Lord comforts those who mourn…v2c  The Lord’s aim is to make the church to “Be beautiful in His sight”

3 Message to the Exile  To proclaim Good News...v1  To proclaim Year of freedom….v2  To proclaim Comfort to those who mourn…v3  The Lord’s aim is to give -New Life/Renewed life/Restored life.. Luke 4:18.

4 RENEW  The Lord grants garland/crown instead of ashes v3 v7a  The Lord instantly lifts us up to a new status in life.  The Lord exhorts us to renew OUR MINDs not to conform to the world. Rom12:2  The Lord’s aim is to make us CHRIST MINDED

5 REFRESH  The Lord grants Oil of Gladness instead of mourning..v3c v6a..  The Lord releases healing to those who are troubled, wounded and broken…  The Lord refreshes OUR HEARTS With His blessings to Zion  The Lord’s aim is to make us JOYFUL CHRISTIAN 7b

6 REVIVE  The Lord grants garment of praise instead of spirit of fainting…v3c  The Lord fills our mouths with praise and worship….  The Lord revives OUR SPIRIT with new wine Acts 2:1&2  The Lord’s aim is to make us SPIRIT FILLED BELIEVERS

7 CONCLUSION  The Year of Israel’s Jubilee…..Lev 25:17…v6c 7c  The year of the Lord’s Jubilee….Luke 4:18..v6b  The year of the Malaysian Jubilee…begins16 Sept 2012….  The Lord’s aim is to see God’s people “BE BEAUTIFUL IN HIS SIGHT”
