Peter Beneson: Founder of Amnesty International

I am doing a project on Peter Benenson and Amnesty International and I can't believe how one man could change a huge thing like human rights just by reading one simple article and doing some thing about it. Angel, Windsor. Ont.
Great man, people like him are respected by all religions,he showed us the way, we WILL continue walking on it. and so will our children, may he rest in peace. Fouad Farooq, Bahrain
Allah will reward you for your courage and for standing by your convictions. You have changed the lives of so many. Salaam. Yvette Robinson, England
This one man inspired hundreds to save thousands. His organization still stirs fear into any political body, If he hadn't read about the two people drinking to freedom I dread to think what the world would be like today and what we would be able to get away with. Alexander Pool,

Peter Benenson was just that. Colum McAndrew, Sutton, Surrey
