I BELIEVE in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth : And in Jesus Christ his only Son, our Lord ; who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried ; he descended into hell ; the third day he rose again from the dead ; he ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost ; the holy catholic church ; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins ; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen

The Creed – I Believe in the Judgment to Come

“It is a public scandal that gives offense, it is no sin to sin in secret.” - French Dramatist, Moliner The Creed – I Believe in the Judgment to Come

"And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are open and laid bare to the eyes of Him with whom we have to do." (Hebrews 4:13) "“But I tell you that every careless word that people speak, they shall give an accounting for it in the day of judgment." (Matthew 12:36) "on the day when, according to my gospel, God will judge the secrets of men through Christ Jesus." (Romans 2:16) The Creed – I Believe in the Judgment to Come

But Isn’t God Love…? "In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has seen God at any time; if we love one another, God abides in us, and His love is perfected in us. By this we know that we abide in Him and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit. We have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son to be the Savior of the world." (1 John 4:10-14) The Creed – I Believe in the Judgment to Come "The Lord’s lovingkindnesses indeed never cease, For His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness."(Lamentations 3:22-23)

God is Love, But Also Just "A jealous and avenging God is the Lord; The Lord is avenging and wrathful. The Lord takes vengeance on His adversaries, And He reserves wrath for His enemies. The Lord is slow to anger and great in power, And the Lord will by no means leave the guilty unpunished. In whirlwind and storm is His way, And clouds are the dust beneath His feet....The Lord is good, A stronghold in the day of trouble, And He knows those who take refuge in Him." (Nahum 1:7) " “For behold, the day is coming, burning like a furnace; and all the arrogant and every evildoer will be chaff; and the day that is coming will set them ablaze,” says the Lord of hosts, “so that it will leave them neither root nor branch.”" (Malachi 4:1) The Creed – I Believe in the Judgment to Come

Immanuel Kant didn’t believe you could know God, but taught that if God doesn’t exist, then ethics were meaningless. Without God all ethics are emotive – a matter of opinion. Kant asked the question, “What would it take for ethics to be meaningful?” How to Have Real Justice…? The Creed – I Believe in the Judgment to Come
