A day in the life of BMIS (Een dag uit het leven van BMIS) By: Nuraine Malida
About ME!!!! Hi, I’m Nuraine Malida and I’m a student at Bishop Mackenzie International School (BMIS). This presentation is about how a normal school day in BMIS is like and how it is different to other schools, for example yours. This power point includes of ten different slides of how BMIS is like. I hope you like it...Ik hoop dat je het leuk vindt
Registration Registration is done in our form classes. Registration is when each student is assigned a form class which they then usually spend the whole day with that form class, unless we have lessons that split us up for example French.
Six day cycle The six day cycle is used in both secondary and primary schools in BMIS. The point of the six day cycle is that if we do have holidays then the day we left off with will turn out to be after the holiday or weekend for example lets say we have a holiday starting on the twenty ninth of school and the last proper school day was on the twenty eighth on which we had day three, when we return to school we will then start on day four.
Lessons At BMIS students have eight periods which include two breaks. If you are in year ten and above, you might be lucky enough to have a free period.
Break!!!! During the school day we only have two breaks which last approximately for one hour.
