The Holy Father was a person…

…to the current, pending problems.
‘Totuus Tuus’, which means ‘I am all yours’
agreement and understanding
with people of all walks of life,
representing different religions and coming from all over the world.
John Paul II was brave enough to say ‘sorry’
for all the atrocities the Holy Inquisition commited in the Middle Ages.
The Pope as an outgoing person
Many people think…
…that high-ranking priests…
…live cut off from the world and ordinary people.
It is not true, which can be exemplified by John Paul II
The Pope tried to understand new fashions and lifestyles.
He often went on hike…
…or skiing in the mountains…
…despite his busy timetable.
His lifetime hobby was the theatre.
This great talent for acting helped him…
…to communicate with the faithful from all over the world.
He enjoyed music, both classical and also more popular one.
The Holy Father was always interested in modern technology.
John Paul II – a friend of the young generation.
He was famous for his friendly attitude to the youth.
The best example is the Youth Days.
The Pope wished to bring the young generation closer to God.
He was only too glad to talk to young people, prayed with them.
‘You are the soil of earth’.
The Pope was a great personality

…without inhumane social systems.
He was building up a world, where people would follow God’s commandments.
