ADPD looks for things a pupil already knows. That is the starting point for help. Vision / starting point of ADPD should be the leading principles: educational optimism ownership starting with chances directed to solutions/ directed to action central role for the teacher
ADPD en ADW Educational optimism: Entrust on the power of development from everybody. Everybody has possibilities to develop and has an own force for development! Everyone has got talents! Start from basic needs: Relationship, competention and independence for the teacher and the pupil(s) as well. Education is ‘learn how to learn’: Knowledge as a remedy and the teacher as the mediator! Everyone is the owner of his own development! Don’t talk over the pupil, but with the pupil.
