3. Standing up on two legs the giant panda is 2 meters tall. A giant panda will usually live up to 20 years or older. The Giant Panda weighs up to 300 lbs. The Giant Panda can grow to be 4 to 5 feet (1.2 to 1.5 m.)

4. Pandas live in the south west of China and to the east of the Tibetan Plateau. Wild pandas live only in remote, mountainous regions in central China. Panda’s live on steep mountain sides 16 feet up on the mountain hills.

5. The Giant panda eats mostly bamboo. It also eats small rodents, berries, fruit, fungi, bird eggs, and fish. The Giant panda has strong molars so it can grind up tough foods. The Giant Panda loves eating bamboo the most out of everything it eats.

6. Pandas are threatened due to habitat loss because people are cutting down bamboo trees. People aren’t protecting them well enough because there are only about 6,000 left in the wild. Pandas starve when people cut down bamboo which is their main source of food.

7. We should make a law to stop cutting down Bamboo trees. We should make laws to keep people from hunting Giant Pandas for awards.
