Premise: Design a Contest and Fundraiser to create an environment where the community and local businesses come together to support a great cause
This project will be designed to encourage and enhance outreach initiatives in conjunction with current outstanding efforts of the Memphis Grizzlies organization and work to fulfill the vision of the NBA Cares program by giving back to those in need, specifically the kids!

We Will Help You Capitalize On Corporate Sales Opportunities By… Greater Memphis Area Chambers of Commerce The fundraising event will build networking opportunities through the Greater Memphis Area Chambers of Commerce Encourage corporate networking with the opportunity to purchase season tickets, which would increase net ticket sales revenue for the Grizzlies.
Corporate Networking Event Chambers of Commerce Networking the contacts from the various Memphis area Chambers of Commerce members to encourage involvement with the fundraising event Grizzlies Contact information will be made available for future Grizzlies games, events and initiatives
Miss Tennessee 2011, Erin Hatley, will be participating and contributing her celebrity to the fundraiser
Engaging the community through the school systems DeSoto County Schools
The Contest All high school and college students will be encouraged to participate The contest categories will be in Web Design and Art Design Participants will create concept art for Memphis Grizzlies “Time to Grind” and Memphis iconic images Incorporate design onto Harley Davidson Street Glide FLHX bike image Two winners will be chosen for each category
The Creation Southern Thunder (Southaven) and Bumpus (Memphis) Harley dealers will create the physical customized bikes using the winning concept art Finished customized Harley-Davidsons will be raffled
NBA The platform to launch the fundraiser will be through the NBA Memphis Grizzlies organization
The Memphis Grizzlies will host the awards presentation for contest winners Winners will be rewarded with VIP treatment and a presentation at NBA home game in the FedEx Forum

The Reach of Social Media Harley-Davidson has: 3.5 Million “Likes” on Facebook 61 Thousand followers on Twitter The NBA has: 12 Million “Likes” on Facebook 4.5 Million followers on Twitter Social media can be used to not only promote the event, but also as a tool to spread the word about the design contest. A special Facebook page can also be created and used for the custom Harley-Davidson design voting process
4 billion Over 4 billion videos are viewed per day on YouTube spread the word document A dedicated YouTube channel will be created to spread the word about the event and document the contest This will encourage viewer engagement and sharing on other social media websites to drive the message
The Raffle Grizzlies Tickets will be available for purchase throughout the community and at the Grizzlies games and special events Bikes will also be displayed at Greater Memphis events for maximized publicity Ticket purchases per person are unlimited Tickets can be purchased in bulk by businesses to encourage team building for a cause

Target Market Theme Nights Youth Sports Night Memphis area youth sports participants attend game in jerseys/shirts Children involved in Grizzlies Youth Hoops also encouraged to attend Community sports multi- generation presence Portion of proceeds go to Le Bonheur and St. Jude
Target Market Theme Nights Scout Night Scouts and their families are encouraged to attend game in full uniform One scout pack will get the opportunity to present the flags at the Grizzlies Game Builds community scouting presence Portion of proceeds go to Le Bonheur and St. Jude
Target Market Theme Night College Night College students are encouraged to attend game in College Name branded clothing Ideally, University of Memphis Students will be wearing blue to contribute to the image of a large U of M & Grizzlies joint fan base Portion of proceeds go to Le Bonheur and St. Jude
Charity Conclusion Towards the end of the2013 season, two winning tickets will be selected and winners will be revealed Motorcycles will be presented to winners At the end of the 2013 season, fundraiser checks will be presented to the respective hospital representatives from St. Jude and Le Bonheur at FedEx Forum during half time All winners from schools, motorcycle raffle, and hospital representatives will be present at the check awards ceremony Make a Difference For the Kids, Connect with the Community, and Put Fans In The Stands!
