COAA Industry Benchmarking Member companies that are executing large capital projects are encouraged to participate. Both Construction Owners and Contractors can participate Confidentiality is assured Owners and Contractors can agree to share information on the same project however
COAA Industry Benchmarking Projects will be Benchmarked twice in the life cycle: At Project Sanction or AFE At Mechanical Completion The Questionnaire has been adapted to Alberta Projects to reflect our standards and typical metrics.

Key Milestones COAA and the Construction Industry Institute reached agreement to develop a “Made in Alberta” Benchmarking Program Government of Alberta agreed to fund 50% of the $300,000 project cost Training held for 28 Benchmarking Associates in Calgary last November
COAA Industry Benchmarking Phase 1 – Definition of Metrics and Development of the COAA Questionnaire Complete Phase 2 – Programming of the web based COAA Questionnaire by the Construction Industry Institute of Austin Texas- Complete Phase 3 – Training the Benchmarking Associates November/05 - Complete Phase 4 – The Alberta Report - Scheduled for completion in April - 2008
