Anne Frank ~ Asking Questions How do you ask a question in English? 1.Begin your question with a question-word: Who (wie)* What (wat) Why (waarom)* When (wanneer) Where (waar)* How (hoe) 2.Begin your question with Can, Have/Has or a form of ‘to be’ Can…. you think of a situation where people discriminate? Have…. you ever felt like an outsider? Are…. you currently being discriminated against? 3.Begin your question with “Do / did” Do….. you feel bad when you’re discriminated against? So remember: whenever you’re talking about the past, think of Mr. ED and write –ED at the end of the verb! Example: Today I walk the dog Yesterday I walked the dog.
