Reasons for unable to Log 1.Memory is full 2.Memory error due to improper operation 3.Device is broken We can use self-test procedure to eliminate point 1 and point 2 and thus avoid costly RMA expense.
Check LED Indicators 1.Turn on the device and switch it to Log Mode 2.Check the LED Indicators Of BT-Q1000\P: if the GPS LED is always on with blue color which means the memory is full. Of BT-Q1200: if the LOG LED is always on which means the memory is full.
Perform Soft Reset from Software Utility 1.Turn on the device and switch it to Log Mode 2.Connect it with PC and Start the software Utility V3 3.Choose the right com port and baud rate 115,200 to make connection 4.Go to “Data Log List” and check “Status” 5.Whether it shows “Error!!!” or not, please click “Reset” to perform soft reset
Still unable to Log? After Reset, check “Record Count” is running or not? If not, the device is surely broken. Please request an RMA.
