2 Volume of Prism : To find the volume of a rectangular prism you have to do like you are going to find the area of a normal rectangle, the difference is that in a rectangular prism you multiply by height instead of just multiplying lxw. The formula to find the volume is: A= LxWxH Examples: 5 2 6 A= l*w*h A=5x2x6 A=60 7 53 A=l*w*h A=3*5*7 A= 105 4 8 3 A= l*w*h A=3x4x8 A= 96

3 To find the volume of a cylinder you have to use the π symbol that stands for Pi. Since it is a cylinder that includes a circle then you must use π for the circumference and area of a circle.
