3.  Need to be handed in before the first practice  Go on two year cycles: ◦ 7-8 ◦ 9-10 ◦ 11-12 ◦ If a 7 th grader gets caught they still have their first offense until they become a 9 th grader

7.  Are going to be longer at the start of the season.  Are going to be hot in the beginning  Are going to be done earlier on Wednesday’s ◦ The goal is to be back here by 6:30  Are going to try and coincide with one another  Junior high generally does not have practice on Wednesday unless they are participating at the varsity or JV level

8.  Any student NOT riding to or from a practice or a game must have a PARENT communicate with the school either by phone, email, or note ◦ THIS IS NOT JUST FROM THE STUDENT. ◦ THIS SHOULD BE DONE DURING THE SCHOOL DAY not at the event.  I would take a “running note” of this if need be  If possible, the student will follow the bus to the event by him or herself

9.  All rules of a normal bus apply  For 2010-11, boys and girls will not sit together since DHS does not have a senior girl out for sports to “police” the bus  Football players dress in Doland  Remind your children to bring the proper clothing especially in later fall and winter ◦ Spandex shorts do not keep you warm.
