Designed for ICMA members who are credentialed and who want to engage in a focused course of study and connection with others who are mid career. Also for those who may not yet be credentialed or who have management experience in fields other than local government AND who want to build strong ties with the profession and strengthen management skills with the goal of becoming credentialed managers.
Skill based sessions The MCM is a focused program to build skills and a cohort group of mid career managers. This program can be applied to Credentialed Manager annual professional development requirements. As part of MCM, you will create an individual professional development plan based on Applied Knowledge Assessment results and individual needs. This plan will be supported by Felicia Logan, ICMA Director of Leadership Development and executive coach, and senior credentialed managers will act as mentors and coaches throughout the MCM program. There will be in person on site events as well as e-learning sessions.
