BMI Your BMI (Body Mass Index) is your weight (kg) / height (m) squared (kg/m 2 ). On an adult, the healthy BMI is between 20 – 25. Over 30 is being obese. The Problem with BMI is that mussel weighs more than fat. People with a lot of mussel can be considered unhealthy. BMI was discovered by a Belgium Statistician called Adolphe Quetelet.

Causes of Obesity Obesity is caused by eating to much or not getting enough exercise. Obesity is not contagious nor genetic but can be called genetic because of inheriting your parents lifestyle. Less sleep, low ambient temperatures and pollution can also cause obesity Obesity can be caused also by medications that can cause weight gain.
Risks of Having Obesity Social rejection is quite common amongst obese people. Obesity can cause heart disease and it can cause high blood pressure. someone who is 40 percent overweight is twice as likely to die prematurely as an average-weight person. This effect is seen after 10 to 30 years of being obese.
Symptoms You have a large weight and large stomach. You have the BMI (mild obesity) +40 (morbid obesity) +50 (malignant obesity) High BMI can also be the cause of Muscle.
How Obesity Affects Your Lifestyle It makes it a lot harder to do things with friends. It certainly affects your confidence and the way people perceive you. however being obese isn't all bad as people generally have to take you on your personality and this means you tend to find more genuine friends.
How to Prevent Obesity Simple activities, such as taking the stairs or walking to the store, can help tremendously. You should weigh yourself once a week to monitor your health. If you notice that you are starting to gain some weight, you should take appropriate measures to lose that weight. Drink Water. Many times people will mistake dehydration for hunger signals in the body.
