1
Relationship Between two variable There are two type of variables associated with distribution i.e. independent and dependent. The known variable is called independent variable. The variables are trying to predict is the dependent variable. There are two types of relationship between variable Direct Inverse BIC Prepaid By:Rajyagor Bhargav

E.g. (direct) X-Advertisement Y-product sealing (inverse) X-reduce pollution Y-get better environment BIC Prepaid By:Rajyagor Bhargav

3
Scatter Diagram To determine whether there is any relationship between tow variable is to examine the group of data. This graph or chart is known a scatter diagram. A scatter diagram can give us two types of information We can look for pattern that indicate the variable are related. Then if they related, we can see what kind of line is there. With the help of that line we can describe the relationship. BIC Prepaid By:Rajyagor Bhargav

5
Interpreting our straight line In this case, the line drawn through our data points represents a direct relationship because y increase as x increase. Thus we can say that it is a linear relationship. BIC Prepaid By:Rajyagor Bhargav

6
Curve line relationship. The relationship between x and y variable also take a form of curve. Statistician call such a relationship curve linear. BIC Prepaid By:Rajyagor Bhargav

7
Review of possible relationship We have six different type of relationship i.e. Direct Inverse Direct curve linier inverse curve linier Inverse linear with more scattering No relationship BIC Prepaid By:Rajyagor Bhargav
