3 Current Progress? A destination focused organisation Y11 FFT data: Current progress top 10% nationally (and now Y10). Y10 GCSE Core Science A*- C = 84.3% (FFTD = 73%). Outstanding technical learning module results. Predicted 75% + 5 x A*- C EM (FFTD = 60%) Post-16 Against top 25% of schools & colleges. University destinations: 100% above ALPs target (70%+ top 25 th Percentile). Apprenticeship destinations: 100% on target for entry requirements. 94% positive effort scores in trackers. L2: All students entered employment, moved on to FE or started L3 at UTC. 2 x Post-16 students won a bronze medal at Siemens UK Skills Competition in December! (2015/16 teams - 4 x CDM, 8 x Engineering). University pathways – Successful Russell Group offers.

4 Key Events (details in the Options Booklet) Post 16 Information Evening - Wednesday 6 th May 2015 Business Dress, ICT, Travel, Support, Daily/Weekly programme, updates Post 16 Transition Day - Tuesday 7 th July or Thursday 9 th July 2015 GCSE Results Day/Enrolment - from 10.00am Thursday 20 th and Friday 21 st August (accept place and confirm results meet conditional offer) 30 Level 2 Places: You must inform us of your results by the end of Thursday 20 th August for these places to be allocated. Level 2 places will be allocated on Friday 21 st August 2015.

8 The Curriculum % = Maths, English, Science, MFL + options choices (Geography, Computing, Art, Product Design). 40% = technical specialism Level 2 OCR Engineering Diploma or CDM Level 2 National Diploma (Post-16) 60% = technical specialism L3 Cambridge Technical Diploma in Engineering or Media (CDM) up to 280 UCAS points (2 x A2 qualification size). 40% = additional AS/A2 qualifications. Alternative smaller Technical (Introductory or Subsidiary) Diploma (140 UCAS points 1 x A2 size or 210 UCAS 1.5 x A2) with more AS/A2 qualifications (students with A*/A profiles). Additional Level 2 route available (1 or 3 year pathway).
