2 Mission of the Library  The mission of the library media program is to ensure that students and staff are effective users of ideas and information.

4 Library Rules for Students

5 General Rules  No backpacks!  No food or drink!  Whisper  One student per table  Respect other students and library property.

9 Circulation Desk  Sign in/out  Check books in/out  Computer sign in  Book Suggestions  Help Desk

10 Signing In  Sign in and show your pass.  For permission to use a research computer go to the circulation desk.

11 Checking Out  Check out period is two weeks.  Use last name or 5-digit county number (same as cafeteria).  Two book limit (only one may be fiction).  Overdue items will be fined 10 cents each day, 25 cents for overnight items.

12 Additional Resources  Vertical File  News Articles – 15 cents each or 2 for 25 cents  Pencils – 10 cents  Pens – 25 cents  Note cards – 2 cents each

13 Using the Copier  Ask a librarian or library assistant for help.  Copies cost 15 cents each or 2 for 25 cents.  Color copies cost 50 cents each.
