Block Schedule… 0 Period: 7:20 – 8:20 (Tuesday – Friday) Period 1 or 2: 8:30 – 10:05 Nutrition: 10:05 – 10:25 Period 3 or 4: 10:25 – 12:05 Lunch: 12:05 – 12:50 Period 5 or 6: 12:50 – 2:25 Support (7 th period): 2:25 – 3:10

9 th Grade Course Selections… All 9 th grade students will take: 1.English I 2.Health /World Geography (semester of each) 3.Foundations of Science or Elective 4.Math (determined by MCMS) 5.PE 6.Elective: 1 year or 2 semesters
Elective Options… Technology and a Practical Skill (semester of each) Visual and Performing Art (year long) Foreign Language (year long): Chinese, American Sign Language, French or Spanish
Foundations of Science 1 year course One semester life science One semester physical science Honors designations can be awarded the 2 nd semester Students can be eligible to take honors and AP science courses after taking this class Must be in Algebra 1B or higher
