Registered charity no. 208217 Endangered Animals Definition of endangered: species in danger of extinction, but can still be saved. An animal is extinct if no more of that species is alive in the wild or in captivity. An example is the Dodo.

Black rhino African Penguin Basking Shark Arctic fox Northern Hairy nosed wombat Crested shellduck There are more than 1,000 endangered species worldwide. These are just some of those animals: White warty back mussel Surinam toad
